| Parcent Man Rescued From Coll de Rates |

A 40 year old Parcent man had to be rescued by helicopter yesterday after suffering several falls and becoming disoriented while hiking on the Coll de Rates. Despite knowing the area the man become disoriented while following a route in the mountains about 3km from Parcent. According to fire-fighters, he became dizzy and fell several times.Because of the terrain it was necessary for the rescuers to winch the man into a helicopter, where a doctor advised he be taken to hospital. |
